Holiday Style
2019 here we are! This was a difficult blog to write… where to start and where to go with it?
I work very hard on being a positive person, putting out a positive energy, however, the first part of this blog just can’t be positive and uplifting as that just isn’t my reality at the moment.
The last four months of 2018 have been the hardest and most challenging of my life.
Within four months I lost my pet of 15 years and my mum… how to even write this with the tears rolling down my face…
I spent a few hours on New Year’s Eve surrounded by fun, laughter, joy and happiness which was difficult to do when my heart is bleeding.
I know I must be kind to myself, mourn, cry remember my mum in my own way and my own time.
I won’t write that this will pass anytime soon… losing her is like losing a limb!
New Year’s Eve is a celebration of the year past and the promise of a new year to come.
I know I will throw everything at this New Year and that time will heal this pain I am feeling at the moment.
In my job, I am blessed to not only meet so many wonderful people and make an impact on their lives but I have some beautiful people around me who genuinely care about me.
When you are met with the harsh reality of death you realise the reality of life. How lucky we are to have it at all!
I hope this year I love a little harder
I will work even harder on enjoying the present
I will take better care of me.
So what will you do for you this year?
Life is not easy! That is a fact!
How we choose to live this life is up to us!
No New Year’s resolutions needed just conscious choices!
I wish you all a very happy and healthy New Year!
Thank you for being a part of my year. I look forward to another year of bringing inspiration to help you with your journey through life.
Sending you all my love xo
So, without further ado, I bring the first style inspiration for 2019 to keep your holiday style easy and breezy!
Holiday Style
Holiday style is meant to be easy to wear but stylish at the same time.
Smart Casual with an effortless vibe of cool.
Holiday style can be any dress code depending on the level of ‘dressiness’ you are comfortable with, but it can always be easy and stylish if you know how to put it together without stressing!
Here are some easy no fuss wins for your holiday style.
Pattern & Print – Stripes are big!
Stripe and spots are everywhere!
Florals are a bit harder to find with new arrivals leaning toward animal print, stripe and spots.
We always tailor our personal styling sessions to a client’s personal taste, so if certain prints are favourites of yours we know which stores have the best options.
Print can be either friend or foe for certain body shapes and so we show you how to style correctly!
Tailored and Detailed Pants
Pants are having a huge moment!
Just like jumpsuits, pants are becoming the chicest option for your looks vs skirts or dresses.
Culottes, paper bag waist, buttons, stripes, casual off duty such as linen and wide leg style all very in at the moment.
Fresh Neutrals
We love the fresh neutral palette at the moment.
White, black and khaki are big in stores such as Country Road and Witchery.
We love the endless possibilities for mixing and matching to create outfits with these versatile pieces.
What are you loving for Summer Style?

To My Dear Cindy xx Where do i start? I truly feel your pain as i know exactly how you feel to lose a parent, as you know i lost my dad 3 years ago and i was very very close with my dad , mum and dad lived with us for 24 years before his passing and it is so true that it feels like losing a limb!!! Im blessed still to have mum living with us but its so hard for her to keep on without him!!! We try our very best and thats all we can do , we dont like to be negative either and we try to be as possitive as we can , even though it will be 4 years this April we do have our days that are harder than others , but at least we have each other and we keep on keeping on xx I want you to know you are a big insperation to me and i will NEVER forget what you did for me , you changed my life with your love and of course your styling, its been many years now that we know each other and still there is not 1 time when im either shopping for new clothes or even when im getting ready for an event or just casual dressing that i dont think of you!!!! Your beautiful inside and out xx Thank you from the bottom of my heart and all of my 4ft7inch of me lol I only wish you the best now and forever my dear Cindy xx

Oh, Melina, I have tears, thank you so much for this beautiful message.
Losing a parent is hard enough without them being someone so dear that you shared your home with- what a huge adjustment.
So difficult. I am blessed to have my Dad still, but it is so hard to think of him without her… they are soulmates.
I will think about this lovely message often.
lots of love Cindy xoxo
