Oaks Day Fashion 2016
I love attending Oaks Day as it is a chance to get amongst the amazing fashion we have been working with whilst preparing our beautiful clients for the races.
Oaks Day being Ladies Day, meant that the incredible fashion was largely feminine & floral.
White & lace were centre stage and many incredible floral headpieces with the most beautiful blooms.

The weather was miraculous, with blue skies the perfect backdrop for the final of Fashion on the Field.
The three finalists included sisters whose mother created their incredible outfits for them.
Proving high fashion does not need to be expensive, one of the daughters took out the grand prize!
Fashions on the Field winner Olivia Moor (c), her sister Charlotte (r) who won third place, and second runner-up Yvette Hardy.
I chose to wear one of my favourite pieces I created in Vietnam on our latest Shopping and Relaxation Tour.
I saw this fun and stylish jumpsuit in a fashion magazine and altered the design to suit my shape and the perfect colour blue for my complexion.
I also bumped into one of my gorgeous clients Robyn wearing her design from our trip to Vietnam also!
We had so much fun creating one-off pieces that we absolutely loved and I was so pleased to see Robyn looking great and feeling confident in her outfit! Such a joy!
If you would enjoy being styled for your next event or would like to come along to Vietnam to create your very own pieces with my help, we would love to hear from you!

Hi Cindy
I am hoping you can help with an outfit im wearing to Ballarat Cup this coming saturday. im wearing a review dress called sugar and spice its a floral dress in black, coral pinky tones and cream. im also wearing a black bolero jacket with it to cover my arms. i am in the 50’s and have blondish colir hair. im not sure what colour fascinator or shoes to wear with this dress. Would appreciate your suggestion. Regards Debbie James
Hi Debbie, gorgeous dress! Select a fascinator in those coral tones or coral and black. Cream and black will also work but not cream alone as you have blonde hair it won’t stand out. You can wear either black or cream shoes. Have fun Debbie! Cindy x
Hi Cindy
Thankyou. Debbie
