Travel Essentials
School holidays are here again!
Who is planning a winter getaway?
Perhaps a winter trip to the snow or somewhere tropical?
I am counting down the days until July when I set off on our annual Style With Cindy Shopping & Relaxation Tour!
Many of our clients are shopping with our Stylists to find the perfect travel pieces this week as they head off on family trips or overseas to Europe or Bali.
The difficulty in shopping for warmer climates for most clients is they are unsure of what will suit their body type when having to show a little more skin!
If you are an over packer or find you never have the right things with you, then you understand the pain of travel packing!!
That’s where a Personal Styling Session can really help!
Get in holiday mode early and relax in the change rooms while our Stylists pull looks together perfectly suited to your body shape, colour characteristics & personality.
I thought to inspire you right this minute, I would share some travel essentials that I am loving this season!
This gorgeous dress from Seed is perfect for an easy casual daytime or dinner look in tropical locations.
Basic pieces for casual daytime looks can be easily mixed and matched for layering purposes, and a beautiful scarf can bring interest and texture to a simple outfit.
These sneakers from Seed really add a fun twist to a basic sneaker and are very comfortable for walking in.
This beautiful dress from Portmans in so versatile!
You can wear this with sandals for warmer climates and dress up with accessories and a dressier shoe for dinner.
The autumnal colours allow you to wear in Autumn and Winter with boots and layer with cardigans and coats.
How fun is this dress from Gorman?
Dress this up or down with a quick change of shoe and you can even throw this on over bathers!
Perfect for wearing a white sneaker or sandal during the day to tour in style!
I love Forever New’s ability to range intricate and embellished pieces as well as trends and more simplistic basic pieces that live on in my wardrobe season after season!
I could see this beautifully embroidered top with big shades in a trattoria in Italy, or in a beachside restaurant in Bali.
Just a few more pieces I am loving that can be easily packed in your case as essentials for your next trip!
What are your travel must-haves?

Hi Cindy, Great outfits!
Stylish comfort is key so I keep embellishments to a minimum and go with black, navy, grey and red for a pop of colour. It depends on the weather but I always have scarves of different fabric and weight, at least one pair of navy, grey or red semi fitted – sweat pants, exercise clothes, stud and hoop earrings, and at least 4 – 5 pairs of shoes / sandals /boots that have been worn in but don’t look like they have. I think the key to a great holiday is not to get loaded down with clothes you aren’t going to wear and to choose items that can be worn a variety of different ways or different occasions.

Hi Louise!
Love everything you have said!
Stylish comfort is key! It is easy to get swept up in putting style over comfort and overpacking many options, however, packing lighter with comfortable versatile pieces to mix and match is far more realistic & relaxing at the end of the day!
Earrings are a fabulous way of dressing up and down – perfect!
