In 2011 ‘fashion stylist” is becoming a word most people can now relate to, all thanks to the television shows that have promoted the importance of our personal image and appearance.
Magazines, television, movies and billboards all point to beautiful well dressed and groomed people of all ages and because of this, the everyday person is becoming more and more interested in their own appearance.
As a personal fashion stylist, my job is to help women of all shapes and sizes to reach their full potential.
I find so many women reach their thirties and forties and really don’t have an understanding of how to dress or what goes with what. This can a have a negative
impact on their self esteem and confidence that affects many areas of their life.
This may be because their own mothers never spent much time on their appearance, or for whatever reason, but because of the world we live in today, women are more
aware of the importance of self value and looking good.
I know for myself having had four children by my 30 birthday, my figure changed and my lifestyle changed. Because I was always so passionate about fashion, even
as a small girl, I was very conscious of still wanting to look good while managing for boys under the age of seven.
As a fashion stylist I take women right back to the basics of what does and does not work for them, I am very honest as I have to be for my clients to evolve and
For me, getting to know my client their lifestyle their aspirations in their career and their socializing agenda ( how they spend their weekends ), is my key
to get to my clients desired outcome.
We then work out how to put existing outfits together, using pieces in the wardrobe, while making a list of things to buy to add and build on the existing wardrobe.
