New Year’s Resolution!
Look After Me
My New Year’s Resolution for 2012 was to get a flat tummy so that I could choose a swimsuit with more ease. Well, I did join a gym and make a start – however, a few weeks in I was hit by a car and left with a badly injured arm (No more Gym!).
Although this unfortunate start to 2012 did create an unforeseen bump in my resolution road, I did manage to do lots of walking, and with a good diet my shape and tummy look pretty good!
So, as I’m finishing the year feeling good about myself, I’m calling it a success and looking forward to the start of a new one.
Enough about me, how did you get on in 2012, and what do you have in mind for 2013? Are your goals going to be all about you? If not, why not? Are you someone who continually puts everyone else first?
It may seem like a selfish thing to put yourself first, but try to remember that when you feel good, the people around you will feel great too.
Here are some ways to re-frame your New Years Resolution.
- If I put good food in my mouth, I will be looking after my beautiful body.
- If I go for a walk at least three times a week, I will feel energised and refreshed.
- If I have my wardrobe audited, I will love everything in there and actually enjoy getting dressed.
- If I spend two hours being styled, and learning what cuts, styles and shapes suit my body, I will look and feel great.
- If I put myself first, I will attract positive comments and energy from people around me.
As the festive season closes it can be easy to lose sight of our goals, and some resolutions may never eventuate. The thought, however, will linger.
Everyone is beautiful, no matter how lumpy, heavy, skinny, large breasted or flat chested we are. Remember to make time for you, as you are the most important person in your life!
Happy New Year
Love
