Bring on summer Fashion, one of the advantages
to Melbourne’s weather is we at least get the
best of summer and winter weather, which means
looking forward to two completely contrasting
wardrobes. Summer fashion this year is so varied
but dresses have made a huge stand in the
fashion stakes.
Classic styling inspired
from the likes of Audrey Hepburn in bold colours
of red, navy, timeless black and elegant black
and white and floral prints.
Halter dresses, shifts,
shirt dresses and the empire-line are just a few
of the feature styles.
Belts at the waists,
buckles and bows add detail to flatter feminine
curves.
Shorts will be huge hit
this summer. They can be dressed up or down for
day or night. You could easily wear shorts to
work with an appropriate shirt, throw heels in a
bag and you have an outfit to go out straight
from work in.
If you are after a simple,
stylish, but classic look you can’t go past the
tailored slacks skirts and dresses. I find cue
for example, have a great spring/summer
collection, very fitted with beautiful detail..
I have just been looking
through Targets women’s
fashion and they have
some fantastic summer outfits at very affordable
prices, some of their wedges are very reasonable
and easily compare to other stores.
The great thing about
summer fashion is you don’t need to spend a lot
of money to look great and if you shop with a personal shopper you will find you will make better quality purchases
There are so many little tops and cheap dresses that can be inexpensive,
the colours are great and if you know what suits
your body shape then shopping should be a
breeze.
