Project Runway Grand Finale

Last week I had the special privilege of attending the filming of the final of Project Runway on Arena. Those of you watching the series, now in its fourth season, will know that we have only seen up to week six on the television. So the filming last week gave me a sneak-peek preview and a complete crash course in all things Project Runway.

Those industry people in attendance have all been sworn to secrecy. We weren’t allowed to take any photos of the runway and we aren’t to share what we saw. I can report is that a few of the finalists produced collections that are inspiring and thrilling and that I would certainly wear myself. No names though .. yet !

It was lovely to catch up with a few industry friends and check out the rising new talent in Australia’s fashion landscape. I now have a few names I will be watching out for! Here’s Cecylia (you might remember this) and I toasting to the inspiring new designers and their success:
