Let’s make Valentine’s Day all about you!
I know, but it shouldn’t be – let’s put you first!
Putting ourselves first is a strange concept as we are conditioned to think of others first.
This Valentine’s Day lets think about why caring for ourselves is so important.
When our cup is full it puts us in the perfect position of feeling great and being able to be there and assist/support/love others!
When on an a flight, we are told to put the oxygen mask on ourselves first, which is an inconceivable thought as you look beside you at your loved ones. Why? So we are in perfect control to then helping others.
Self care is sometimes pushed aside, why not do something for you!
Reward you to feel great. This can be the same for a man in your life.
Give him the gift of putting himself first.
What this gift might be or what self care is to you can be different for everyone.
In my experience, I can hand on my heart say our personal styling sessions are transformative.
The boost both men and women receive is incredible it really is life changing.
That stressful aspect of their life is taken care of, not feeling good about themselves and their appearance, the worry of what they are going to wear is a thing of the past.
When we work on ourselves, we gain confidence and it changes the way we feel about who we are.
The way we feel about ourselves informs all aspects of our lives.
It makes us kinder, warmer more loving humans and when we feel good about who we are, we share that positivity.
We are at the beginning of the new year rejuvenation, new beginning, new outlook.
I know how tough life can get, all the obstacles that get thrown at us, but I can’t tell you how much of a difference practising some self care, filling your cup will make.
I would love for you to set the wheels in motion, no matter how big or small!
Make an appointment, book a holiday, a girls night out, a daily walk or breathing exercise, whatever it is that will give you time to focus on you – fill your cup!
So let’s together celebrate putting ourselves first. Let see how that feels! What could you do for you?
