It’s no secret that we’re huge advocates of updating your wardrobe regularly throughout the year so that it always reflects your personal style and tastes – even if this means doing the occasional clear out of items that you no longer wear (or have never worn!) Of course, one of our favourite wardrobe areas to update is our trusty shoe collection, and it almost goes without saying (but we’ll say it anyway as we love talking about shoes) that no great wardrobe is complete without a great collection of footwear for all seasons.

While it’s great to spend less on “trend” pieces that you’ll only wear for a season or two, for classic wardrobe items we always recommend spending that little bit more, as the quality and durability of those slightly more expensive items will mean that you’ll get years and years of enjoyment out of them – And who doesn’t love hanging on to their favourite pair of shoes for as long as possible!

    ECCO was founded in Denmark by Karl Toosbuy in the 1970s.
    I’ve only worn ECCO shoes (size 39) since I discovered the brand 5 years ago. My ECCO summer sandals are now a few years old, and have lasted so well! A new pair will be great for this season.
