My Personal Favourites: November
I spend many hours of my working week inside Chadstone Shopping Centre, well, shopping!!! 🙂
Now, along with helping all my wonderful clients with their personal style, I am both a multi-tasker and a passionate shopper. So along the way, I like to make mental notes of things I would love to try or buy.
So while my blogs are always dedicated to you (as is this one also 🙂 ), today there is a little bit of “me” throughout as I’ve put together my wish list for your inspiration.
Now November is what I like to call a lead-up month – it starts to get hectic.
In Melbourne, we’ve just survived Spring Carnival, we’re adjusting to the warmer weather and our heads are already filled with Christmas jingles. It’s really only four weeks to the big day and we’re just entrenched in Christmas shopping.
Oh – it’s also the month of my birthday which means beyond the Christmas gift list I’m always on the hunt for a sweet, casual look for my annual birthday dinner and the pre-Christmas events that pop up.
For those that know me or see me out and about (even through my digital pages), you’ll know my style is quite diverse and no, I don’t only wear black 🙂
You might be surprised that I dig deep into an array of stores. I’m always looking for new trends, collections, comparing price points and love shopping at department, chain stores right up to our luxury Australian designers.
(See, even when I’m shopping for myself, I’m doing the groundwork for all you lovely people!)
Now while I do love black and white (it’s a combination that will never tire), I did surprise myself when I tried on a gorgeous red maxi at Country Road. I absolutely love it and it’s risen to number two on my wishlist. In the number one spot is the navy maxi from Saba that I must have!
So, if you’ve ever wondered what a stylist covets, here are my top picks for this season:
Now, when I talk about style inspiration, this is exactly what I mean. These images could form a digital mood board of your most favourite things. It’s a great way to capture styles and colours you look good in, or aspire to buy. You can create one yourself. Head in-store, try on some things you love, grab that smartphone and selfie yourself silly.
Make your own wish list. Even print it and out and leave it on the coffee table. You never know who might pick it up and consider it a subtle gift nudge. (Make sure you note the store of which it came from).
My fingers are crossed that my Husband sees today’s post and perhaps crosses one of these items off my list for my birthday 🙂
What do you have on your wishlist?

Dear Cindy,
how can I say this without sounding like I’m gushing…. oh who am I kidding, I’ll gush!
You are simply marvelous! Love the last Country Road dress in coral but also think the electric blue outfit from Forever New is a sensational colour on you! You’re such an inspiration. Here’s a big fat MWAH, just to finish the gush!
Pam.

Ahhh, so it’s actually a Christmas wish list! I hope you get it all you deserve it. Maybe just buy the red maxi yourself though just in case you look beautiful in it and it would be perfect for Christmas day xx

Great picks Cindy! Love the Country Road maxi on you – from what the pics show I think it’s the most flattering 🙂 Today is actually my birthday so I did something similar the other day only with shoes
