3 Ways To Wear A Blazer
As the weather begins to cool and when carrying a portable fireplace around is not that stylish (or an option really?), we start to think about the warmth status of our wardrobes.
In particular, the outer layers: cardigans, jackets and blazers.
Now if I had one dollar for every time a client said: “Cindy, I really need a new blazer.”
Well… let’s just say I would probably have a weekly shop habit at Gucci. Joking of course 🙂
Now once I’ve found my client the perfect blazer, I’m addressed with the next question: “Wow! I love my blazer but…ummm…Cindy, how do I wear it?”
So today’s blog post will be a two prong approach showcasing some blazers we’ve found in store along with ways to style them.
Oh, and you don’t need to purchase a new blazer, feel free to apply these ideas to one you have in your own wardrobe.
Perhaps you have an old blazer that’s been hanging in the wardrobe a little unloved. Well, we’ll show you how to breathe some new life into it.
It’s amazing what a little sleeve roll and some clever layering strategies can do.
It’s also great to see that the blazer is now free from its’ strong office reputation and has also been finding its’ way into our casual, weekend and evening looks.
It can really smarten up your entire outfit and I love how it layers so nicely over a summer dress helping you work it in the cooler months.
So today we’ve chosen one blazer from Cue and dressed it up three different ways. I hope our creations help inspire your own wardrobe look.
Forever New is another fabulous store that stock great blazers at a cheaper price point! For more options see our post on 3 Style Tips On How To Wear A Blazer Or Cardigan.
Now, if you want a softer look that still offers the warm factor, try wearing a cardigan in a similar manner. Now I know many of you are not cardigan wearers however forget any cutesy/button only perceptions of the cardigan you may have and be prepared to explore short, long-line, sleek and stylish options.
Like always, I would love to hear your thoughts on today’s blog post and if you have any of your own blazer style tips to share.
Stay warm!
