When I think about Easter I get very nostalgic.
When my boys were younger we would always celebrate with a family day on Good Friday before a long weekend of fun and relaxation.
We might go away with our entire family, camping was always a fantastic time with the kids, but we always made sure we stuck to our traditions.
Every year we would lay out carrots for the Easter Bunny and he would leave the kids a Humpty Dumpty egg and a cute set of pyjamas.
Still to this day I buy them eggs as I love to hold onto a few family traditions.
Easter is a fun, casual time, really relaxing with the transition from warmer to cooler weather encouraging snuggling up with a hot drink and pulling out my favourite knits.
I love that Easter is a time for family but also a great opportunity to stop and take a breath after what can seem a long time between breaks after the excitement of Christmas and New Year.
I need to really unwind during this break, as this will be my only downtime until our Shopping and Relaxation tour to Vietnam in July, and by the time that comes around I know, I will be craving some relaxation, sun and sand!
These days, I spend my Easter break socialising, catching up for coffee dates and spending time with family.
Here is some fun style inspiration for the Easter Break!
Hope you all have a safe and happy Easter!
