Chadstone Q&A with Style Icons: Olivia Palermo and Johannes Huebl

It feels like a dream that almost 2 days ago we met style icons Olivia Palermo and her gorgeous husband Johannes Huebl.

 

We were fortunate enough to have an invite extended to us from Chadstone – The Fashion Capital to attend a morning Q&A hosted by the editor-in-chief at Harper’s Bazaar, Kellie Rush.

The day started like no other and even though we were out of bed at 5am we definitely had a bounce in our step!

The breakfast began at 7:30am to celebrate the launch of Spring/Summer Collections for Chadstone.

We were greeted with fresh juice, an array of different teas from T2, some adorable fresh fruit bowls, muesli, yummy Danish pastries and amazing mini quiches.

Sipping on our piping hot coffees surrounded by fellow bloggers, journalists from the Herald Sun, Marketing/Managers from leading Australian brands, eagerly awaiting for the love-struck power couple to arrive…

The second they arrived everyone huddled in and the introduction began.

It was obvious the happily married couple, Olivia and Johannes, were extremely happily and at ease as they answered questions from Kellie!

“Where do you get your style inspiration from” Kellie asked Olivia.

Olivia laughed and responded that she draws her style inspiration from people on the streets, just like we all do!

Although we each have our style icons, as celebrities, we also gain our style ideas from the everyday person which is where some of the GREAT inspiration comes from!

The last part of our inspiring and exciting morning was to have a brief chat with the stars and have a photo taken with them.

From our conversation, these two are very down to earth and knowledgeable! Luckily for the newly married couple, it’s not just work and no play…they are spending a week in Melbourne and will get to experience some of the treasures this place has to offer : )
