SS14 Runway Collection at Chadstone – The Fashion Capital

Spring has sprung!

Last Thursday evening, Lacey and I glammed up for one of the largest Chadstone events of the year, the Spring/Summer Runway.

Arriving to the luxury precinct for 6pm drinks we were greeted by a crew filming an episode for “The Real House Wives.”

We sipped our champagne while enjoying delicious canapés of mini pancakes with cream cheese and caviar, as well as scrumptious quinoa and apple jam fritters. YUM!

Aside from enjoying the decadent taste delights we had the pleasure of mingling with a few store managers from LIFEwithBIRD, Thurley and Ted Baker. The excitement in the room added an extra dimension with everyone anxiously awaiting the arrival of Olivia Palermo and to see her outfit.

At approximately 7pm, Olivia and her gorgeous husband, Johannes Huebl, arrived for a quick photo and settled quickly in their seats at the runway.

We too settled into our front row seats, anxious for the show to begin and to have a peek through our goodie bags 🙂

After the spectacular AW14 we attended at the beginning of the year, we were very excited to see the SS14 runway. With our overseas guests in attendance, we anticipated this runway would surely be nothing less than exceptional.

Set within a scene from a mystical forest, with ballet dancers and a live saxophone player, the atmosphere alone would impress anyone.

Starting off with a gobsmacking performance by the artists, we were mesmerized then by the SS14 collections from numerous brands within the centre. Look below for a few sneak peeks into what will be coming to stores soon 🙂
