Melbourne Cup Fashion 2014
Melbourne Cup, a day of everything bright, weird and wonderful.
I must admit I didn’t come across too much weird, it was mostly amazing and truly wonderful Melbourne Cup fashion.
I was fortunate to have my gorgeous outfit sponsored by Alannah Hill for the day so I was feeling quite lovely as I walked in and around the Birdcage taking lots of photos and out in the general area to snap some shots of the fashions on the field winners as well as the award for best design.
The weather was much warmer than Derby Day, just a little windy at times!
The photos below are some shots of colour, weird, stunning and a few snaps of me running into a few Celebs.
I hope you are enjoying our coverage of the races this week!
Did you attend Melbourne Cup? What did you wear? Even better, did you have a win?

LOVE the gent in the wacky TOP HAT ensemble & the lady with him, the amount of flowers on her head is amazing! My kind of combo!
Also, that colour on Ash Hart is so divine! Very classic head to toe! Nice 🙂

Hi Cindy
Wow, you got better shots than those on Nine MSN. I loved what they ladies were wearing. Very classy acts. I didn’t get to the Melbourne Cup this year but I am planning on going to it next year with my two daughters. I’ll certainly have to pick a very special outfit to wear after seeing the photos.

Thanks Maureen, I tried to get a broad spectrum of photos, its really just a chance to buy a new dress or wear an old fave I think on Cup Day!!! I hope I see you there next year!! xo

WOW! Thank you Cindy (and your team) for your generosity in sharing such wonderful energetic
photos full of styles, colours, and creative pieces, – flattering, flamboyant, sexy and fun. Highlighting just how individual all our tastes are,and how we can really enjoy and express ourselves through our clothes and what fun can be had…..Be Brave! Be bold! and Melbourne Cup is just the place to do it.

You are welcome Kim, that’s the idea to give those that didn’t go to the races a look or those going, some ideas on what is being worn! xo
