Oaks Day, Ladies Day at Flemington 2014

We have just been to Oaks Day  (Better known as Ladies day) the fashion was sharp, the drinks were flowing and the sun was shining – a perfect day to be working at the races! I have been waiting for an opportunity to wear  my favourite dress that I wore last August to my step Daughters wedding, today was the day, Yay!!! We were chauffeur driven in our new car by my Husband each day, this made the day that extra bit special and certainly saved our feet!!

We bumped into a few familiar faces as well as a few celebrities.

It was also wonderful to see Brodie Worrell take out the national final of Fashions on the Field, she was overwhelmed but clearly VERY excited, I would be too if I had just won a Lexus!!!. We interviewed Brodie on Saturday after she won Derby Day fashion on the field,
