Merry Christmas and Thank You

What a year it has been!

As we bid farewell to 2015, I believe it’s important for all of us to reflect on the year that was.

Look at the wins that have taken you higher, the challenges you faced, the surprises you received and above all, the people you have helped along the way – because that’s what it’s about right?

I love how Audrey Hepburn captured this in a beautiful quote: As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands, one for helping yourself, the other for helping others.

Now, for those of you who don’t know Style With Cindy (SWC), you may think that we’re just about fashion and shopping. Sure, it’s a huge part of what we do, but beneath the clothing selection and change rooms is an opportunity to alter someone’s life.

Style counts, what you wear matters and I am delighted to say that SWC has had another huge year helping people dress for themselves, feel more confident and succeed with the help of fashion.

In our biggest growth year to date, we have just acquired our first office space with shop frontage at Chadstone Shopping Centre in Melbourne. SWC will be bringing the first styling suite to the largest shopping centre in the Southern Hemisphere!

Nearby at The Glen Shopping Centre, our work with them over the year has seen SWC listed as the preferred stylists on The Glen’s website – this is truly humbling.

Our styling academy, PSA, has gone from strength to strength with 100’s of male and female graduates ready to make their mark on personal styling throughout Australia.

Yes, it’s been wonderful but I couldn’t have done it without you – really!

So sending my deepest thanks to you all for being such a huge part of SWC in 2015. Whether you’re a client, a student, you may read the blogs or follow us on social media – you all count, and I am so grateful for your continued support.

I also know many of you have helped spread the word on my sons’ restaurant venture while lovingly and genuinely caring about my personal well-being over the year and many years before that.

Now on a global scale, it’s important to mention that it’s also been a turbulent year of tragic events for some or just general hardship for others. We help where we can by offering support, educating, donating but personally, it is also a reminder to live our lives fully and kindly.

It’s important to remain grateful, giving and listen to our hearts a little more.

I hope that I have touched you all in some way through what I do whether I have styled, taught you or both on some level. I truly hope I have made a difference in some way!
