MSFW 2014 Designer Runway 4

In the last days of Melbourne Spring Fashion Week we were very excited to see another show, Designer Runway 4.

The show included a dear friend of ours who is an independent designer, Macho Suba. Such a creative person!

Aside from him, we saw Bul, Livia Arena, Above, Kuawii, Chorus, Limedrop, Leonard ST, Gorman, Tettmann.doust and Matcho Suba!

Before the MSFW runway commenced we had a lovely glass of champagne in the lobby – a great way to start the weekend! 🙂

We were lucky enough to have well positioned seats near the runway that gave us a great view of the show which started with an amazing artwork polygraphed on the wall, this really set the scene for what was to come.

Then one by one, collection after collection the show began.

Of course we had a few favourites and you will see a showcase of a few designs below 🙂

Once it was over, we quickly congratulated Macho on his designs and made a quick exit for dinner.

After our delicious meal, we headed to Macho’s after party in docklands and what a gorgeous sight it was with many highly creative people everywhere!!

Yet another champagne was forced in our hands on arrival but unfortunately, we were not able to taste the decadent canapés after being extremely full from dinner 🙁

Amongst the crowd were people wearing Macho’s brand, friends and even colleagues from Ted Baker where Macho is based during the week when he is not designing.

It was great to stand around and have a chat with some familiar faces and also meet some new ones as the party started to hit full swing, but after a couple of big fashion week’s bed was beckoning and so we made a gracious exit wishing we had a little more energy to stick around and enjoy the festivities.
