Mystery Shop – A Surprising Discovery
Welcome to our Mystery Shop Blog – also known as where am I?
This is a blog we anticipate as a regular Style With Cindy column to help you rediscover a retail gem or find a new store during your shopping expeditions.
So firstly, I AM somewhere in Chadstone but the first rule with this blog post is NOT to scroll down to find out the actual store I’m shopping in.
On our regular style shops, I have many clients who put the breaks on outside stores informing me: “I don’t shop there!” Be it too young, too old, too colourful, too girly, only small sizes, only large sizes – need I continue?
So in this Mystery Shop column, we wanted to remove any preconceived notions some of you may have with certain stores by creating an abundance of looks within one store.
In our work version of “wardrobe play”, Lacey and I will hit the change rooms of a retailer at Chadstone to bring you some inspiring fashion looks for consideration.

We’ve worked to improvise to include an array of body shapes and I even tried some on for you!
Ladies who like a vibrant wardrobe will also be delighted that this blog will be more about colour, other than BLACK whilst also showcasing the latest trends along with new season collections as they are unveiled.
In terms of today’s store, it was the colourful visual merchandising that caught my eye and it even encouraged me (who is an advocate for all things black) to try some things on.

I know, I know, I know! Bardot!!!! I’ve tried on nearly all of those tops. They are great especially for inverted triangles with the peplum. The sky blue top looks great on you Cindy, but was too pale for me because I suit warm colours (look how well your taught me). I also loved the the cream top with the peplum but the sleeves finished in the wrong spot and broadened me a little, but there was another black one in there that I bought (I know black ) but I do love it. I love this new game xxx

You are so right I would not usually give this store a glance… great idea with the mystery shop.
I have recently discovered Bardot is a great fit for a large bust and smaller torso. I am a size 12 but a G cup so clothes shopping is a nightmare. Alot of the clothes at Bardot work really well on me, fitting the bust but not swamping my frame). I find the staff really helpful, have a good understanding of what shapes suit you and and don’t make me feel like I’m too old for the store (I am 42)
