Runway to Every Day Re-cap

Hi Everyone,

What a week!
Thank you for your patience in this latest post as it’s taken the team and I some time to recover from our Runway to Every Day workshops!

This year, after discussions with Chadstone – The Fashion Capital, we were invited to hold our annual style review at their magnificence venue. The new venue and event structure saw us run three styling workshops and I’m pleased to say the events were so well received and a huge thanks to my enthusiastic audience.

My seven models (current Style With Cindy clients) attended all three shows for the very first time and ranged in body shapes, age brackets of 30 to 50+ while wearing sizes ranging from 6 to 16.
Runway to Every Day translated clothes, shoes and accessories from Chadstone retailers to my models in outfits specifically selected to suit each individual person.

For those listening carefully, I also offered information on dressing for your body shape, colour selection and the real opportunity of “life-changing” style.

Fashion lovers would have been delighted on how many of this seasons trends we made sure we represented in the hour of each show with the event showcasing an abundance of style directions including this seasons much loved monochromatic in black and white, beautiful neutrals, stripes, polka dots, the not-so-challenging white on white along with print.

I was thrilled to see so many familiar faces (thank you!) and welcome so many new people to our events.

Now generally we do a full re-cap of our events but this year we’ve decided to create a model series distributing an individual post on each model and posting two of these each week.
If you attended the event and felt you related to one of the models, perhaps saw an outfit you feel you could translate to your own wardrobe, I will detail all the choices, some style guidelines and of course where you can buy everything.
