Vietnam 2018 – Our Tour Review
I am always blown away by the amount of family, friends and clients who make contact to wish us well before the trip and ask how it went!
I thought on the blog this week I would share our experience and as a bonus I get the pleasure of reliving it at the same time 🙂
I keep saying this every year, “that was the best tour we have ever done” and this year was no exception! We just had the most amazing time with equally amazing people 😊
We are finding that these tours are more about people coming together to rejuvenate their mind, body and wardrobe in beautiful Vietnam and they all do it for lots of different reasons.
Most were there to relax and be led by us to beautiful sights & wonderful restaurants, not having to think or concern themselves with any details. Some were there to have a load of fun, meet new friends or return to reunite with last tour travellers and do it all again!
What did we get up to this year?
Well, there was also plenty of activity too like shopping, tailoring & exploring the amazing country and experiencing their culture.
For those who wanted adventure we had side car rides, walking tours, the Marble Mountain Tour, we visited the tallest lady Buddha in Vietnam, took speed boat rides.. this is just to name a few!
Most got a great tan, blew out some cobwebs, recharged batteries. Some were there to take time out, to revaluate their life and then be super charged when they returned.
The fun we had was just incredible. I still laugh at the mere thought of different situations or when I view a video on my phone. We were all so different, all dealing with our own stuff and yet able to let our hair down at times and just have a good time!
I know, I had belly laughs! Something I don’t do enough as life seems so serious!
We saw so much together & did so much together, yet there was the perfect balance of group to personal down time when you chose.
The tailoring was awesome! It was a great opportunity to have things made or copied from old loved faves! While the tailoring was there and most took advantage of it, it took a bit of a back seat this year. We had clothes made but we balanced it out with other things so the process didn’t take over the opportunity to be present – which is one of the greatest gifts!
Hoi An is magical, Saigon is fantastic fun & interesting! So much to see & do, or so little to do but be pampered day in & day out. If you are into pampering, OMG! It’s on tap & so cheap!
Food – Yummy plus!!
Weather – Hot 😊
Company – Amazing
We just had so much fun!
It’s so hard to articulate what I, or I should say we get from it!
Each year I gain new friends, so many keep coming back, this tells me our recipe works. However, each year we change bits up, try to improve to keep it interesting. I had no idea 4 years ago I would fall so deeply I love with these tours.
For myself personally this year, it has served as the perfect line in the sand to slow down, take stock and make more time for myself as this has been a very busy year with quite a few curve balls!
As always, it was so life changing and inspiring, friendship building & downright the highlight of mine and many others year.
Every year we receive incredible feedback from our fellow travellers and I am so pleased and touched to read them.
I wanted to share them with you (see some below) and say thank you to Calvin as they are a testament to the hard work he does behind the scenes putting the tours together.
I really do hope you have had as much fun reading this blog as I had writing it, and perhaps you can relate to the feelings and experiences travel can provide… it still surprises me!
If you are inspired to join us on next years tours then today we have just officially opened bookings for 2019 tours.
You can get all the details for our 2019 Vietnam tours here, but don’t hesitate too long, past travellers have already taken a large lump of available spots already 🙂
Would love to hear your travel stories and how they changed your life

Cindy and Calvin exceeded beyond all my expectations … Not only through their organisational skills and their attention to detail for absolute perfection, but through their genuine kindness and abilities to ensure every tour member was attended to and made to feel part of a family ….I cannot express enough my gratitude towards them for making this holiday so blissful and unforgettable…
Every moment in Vietnam was magical and special. I thoroughly enjoyed Every restaurant, every tour, every hotel, every massage, every activity etc…organized by them and would not hesitate experiencing it all again.

Vietnam is absolute paradise!!! It is a place to make new friendships and catch up with special friends made on previous tours.
We visit amazing places, eat delicious food, enjoy a massage, visit incredible tailors to have clothes made to measure, enjoy the pool and stunning beaches, meet friendly locals and stay in stunning resorts. What more could anyone want?
All of this is because of Cindy and Captain Cal!!!

Style with Cindy Vietnam Shopping and Relaxation Tour 2018 was my very first visit to Asia; I couldn’t have picked a better tour to go on for a first timer, everything was incredibly easy! Everything you could possibly think of was always taken care of; Cal and Cindy have done a spectacular job meticulously fine tuning every aspect of the tour from flights to sightseeing tours through to the restaurants and bars. The food was delicious, and I especially loved the cooking class, fun and seriously tasty! I had a fabulous time and met beautiful people, our accommodation in both Saigon and Hoi An was truly amazing and without fault. Cindy’s expert advice and help with the tailoring side of the tour was invaluable. My only concerns the entire tour was “what am I going to eat”, what am I going to wear” and what part of my body will I get massaged next”, have booked again for next year. Thank you both so much Cal and Cindy. x
5 stars from me Guys!
